new flower bed

In The Beginning

. Thursday, May 9, 2024 .

At night when I can't sleep because my brain is going 900 miles an hour I think come up with some pretty cool ideas.  This is one of them...Bloom of NottaLotta Farm.

My idea is to grow flowers in one section of the yard and find cool 'vases' to put them in and deliver them to people that I think need a little pick me up.

Connor, my awesome Whiz Kid, finds me treasures.  I clean them up and they are great. Or I will go to Goodwill and pay next to nothing for anything that is different looking.

Looking out our bedroom window.

I look for items that don't cost me anything.  Accept gifts from friends.  This plant hanger is from a Wammyville dad's dad.

The teapot is from Jeremey's dad also as is the enamal bowl. The black 'trellis' which came from Murph is actually a porch rail.

All of my little greenhouses are planted and growing well.

This beauty, French lavender, just jumped into my arms over the weekend when we were at Trader Joe's with Emmy.

Red Cardinal Climber that I started from seed in one of the milk jug greenhouses. The bees and hummingbirds are going to love me.
