Or I should say they came and told us we weren't to climb any ladders!  Jeremy called around and got a crew together to help us finish up the yard work...stuff that we weren't allowed to do.

Brock dug us a new flower bed for the Wieglaria bushes.

The man loves to trim anything...it doesn't matter...he will trim it!

Pappy assisting...AKA...telling Brock what to do.

Cleaning out the gutters and getting the moss off the shingles.

The Boys love it when we do yard work.

Back gutters getting cleaned.

Ther ed door paint job looks great!  I added a little door decoration.  It is a stained glass sunflower that Mark bought me the first few days that we lived in WI because we lived on Sunflower Lane.

Pappy looking to see what needs to be done in and behind the compost bins.

All the junk in the back of the truck ready to head to Bzak.  Thanks, Jeremy!

Front gutters getting a facelift.

Burning Bushes getting a good even trim by Jon.

Once they got all the ladder jobs finished they tackle the rest of the mulch.   Then cleaned out the truck!

The four-legged boys did a number on the Harry Lauder branches.

All said and done!  It looks great,  Now if it would jsut stop raining so I could enjoy it from somewhere other than looking out the family room door.

They are making mulch at Bzak!  This pile is HUGE!!!!
I have NEVER seen it so tall.

We Called In The Cavalry

. .
Wild Black-eyed Susan's

Beauties that were transplanted a few years ago and forgotten about.  They came up in the middle of Cassie's Anemones.

Speaking of Cassie...she gave me a gift card to Lowe's for Mother's Day and I knew we were planning on cleaning up the backyard as soon as school was out so I patiently waiting to use it.

A little friend hanging on for dear life in the storm.

I decided on (after looking at all the climbers for about 30 times each) a climbing Passion Flower.

The Stella Doras are finally blooming.

I think this might be the first hosta flower to bloom.

Bonus from the Passion flower...I pulled three little vines from the main one.  Hopefully, the chickens will not find them.

I Love A Good Stroll Around the Yard

. Tuesday, June 11, 2019 .
What a mess!

We had some helpers.  Boot ate the leaves.

Scoot just was happy to be out in the yard eating anything we pulled up.

Boogie keeps us moving.  He tried so had to get the weed eater working.

And then it looks like this.  Now, this is totally amazing!!!  BAd this is that it is int he backyard behind the barn and no one will be able to see it.  That's okay.  I feel 20  pounds lighter.

No More Weeds

. .
I found flowers from other places in the yard and transplanted them.  We mulched but only the front part of the island,

Waiting for the boys to trim.

Weeded the outside of the goat pen.

Moved some of the ornaments to different parts of the bed.

Pappy starting the clean up the 'City Park' with his dreaded weed eater.  He gets a little happy with it and sometimes he gets the flowers instead of the weeds but that's okay they will grow back because he didn't get the roots.  Thank heavens.

This is how it looks at the end of day one.  I'll tackle it again tomorrow.  Looking at the bed something is missing.

Ahhh yes.  We moved Michael's white bench to the back.  I think that was what was missing.

Weekend Warriors

I'm trying to keep the chicken from dusting right by the door because they make a really big mess.

Mark cleaned out the fire pit and I 'salted' the weeds around it.

Carolyn came down and painted the blue door red.

I love it!

Getting Things Back In Shape

. .
This is my artsy shot of the day.

I've been doing a little bit, a whole lot of weeding.

These are what I was able to pick today.
