A friend shared a spider plant with me.

Rosemallow

Garden flower fairy made from my Hollyhocks.

The perfect spot for him to grow.

Culver's Root

The goldfinches are all over the sunflowers.

A volunteer Naked Lady came up in the berry patch.

surprise

I love this red door for so many reasons.  I grabbed it off the curb up the street from one of our friend's driveway.  It was blue then.  A few years later my friend's daughter painted it red for me.  Do you know the meaning of a red front door?

'In America, a red front door holds the historical significance of meaning people are welcome at the homes where they host a red door.  Travelers were welcome to rest and have a meal, and during the Civil War, and during the Underground Railroad, runaway slaves would also seek a red door as a sign of a safe house.'

And yes we have a 'red' door on the front of our house.
