I wish I had kept track of how many hostas we have dug up, split, and replanted in the last few days. I pray that the dogs don't dig them all up or trample them running to catch whatever critter is in the backyard.
I dug up some Sweet Woodruff from the driveway and hopefully it will be a good groundcover fill-in the plant.
We still need to dig out the dead burning bush stump.
I got to empty my big yellow bucket filled with weeds and on the way to the compost bin, I find Imogene on the wrong side of the fence. I checked all the gates and they are all locked. The only way she could have gotten in is by climbing up in the compost bin and then jumping over into the bed. She never barks so I am now wondering how long she has been in there.
Good dog...she didn't dig up a thing!
