A New Idea Taking Root

 

According to the weather forecast, we're in for a bit of cold.  I haven't had time to bring in all the plant pots, so first thing Monday morning, they were moved inside.

 I brought in as many plants as I could.  They are all over the house, some in some unusual spaces.  The laundry room is one.

I read somewhere that a lady trimmed all of her ferns and took them inside.  I thought that the laundry room might act ike a greenhouse because it is so warm in there.  I will water once a week and check progress.  I left the largest fern with new fronds and just trimmed the deadish stuff.

I used the cuttings to cover the newly transplanted hosta to keep them covered and warm all winter.

We shall see!
