I am covered in at least two layers of clothing top to bottom, my Farmers' Friend sleeves, gardening gloves, a buff pulled up over my head, enough bug spray to kill an elephant, and safety glasses. Bugs and poison ivy aren't going to get me. I am attacking the little section between the goat pen and Mr. Bill's side of the fence. It is a jungle. And Murph thinks we can have a secret path between the beds in there.
Mark got me a lighter battery-powered weedeater and blower so I wouldn't have to have to ask him to start the big one we have. I just can't seem to pull it to start it. Such a weakling!
TA-DA!
A look-see from our bedroom window just for Murph! He likes this view.
Mark trimmed the sand cherries so you could walk by without having to move them out of the way.
It is amazing what your find when you clean things up.
I miss my girls!
After all that work I was starving so I went to the garden.
Picked a mess of Swiss chard.
Got some collards.
And a little bit of cilantro.
Chard into the iron skillet.
Sweating it down with some butter and onion. I could eat this stuff all day long!
