What Are They Thinking

. Sunday, December 20, 2020 .

These dogs are going to be the death of me and/or the garden.

They are in so much trouble.  this once was our garlic bed.  Rows of beautifully, 'precisionly' planted garlic bulbs were coming up. My guess is that someone or all of the someones jumped the into flower pot whiskey barrel and used it as a jump-off point over the fence and into the raised bed.  Many, many holes were dug and dirt covered the plants that were somehow untouched.  Mark and I very gently and carefully dug up the plants that survived and transplanted them.

We transplanted them into the raised bed with a better fence and not flower pot to use to gain access.  So far so good.  About 36 plants were transplanted.  Here's hoping we get at least three heads of garlic when it is time to harvest.  One for Mark, one for me, and one for Murph.
