Our First Real Harvest

. Sunday, July 12, 2020 .

We think we have an acorn squash.  We did not plant any acorn squash.  Mark thinks it came as a volunteer in our dirt.

Our little pumpkin continues to amaze us.

I think we might have English cucumbers.

Then there are the pickling ones.  This one in the background decided to try to grow in between the trellis.  He's got a few dents on his sides.

green beans!

Cherry tomatoes always remind me of my dad.

I think Murph told me this was a purple pepper.  They are so pretty.

Look closely and find the 'teardrop' tomatoes.

yummy

Our first 'big' harvest! I am so proud!

And then we come to the green beans and the 'lace-makers'.  Japanese beetles are eating the leaves of the green beans.  I love how they look but not what they are doing to the plants.

So hopefully the beetle catcher will help with our little problem.
