Wammy, You Hired A Gardener?

Back at it in the garden.  But Mark and Murph are trying something Mark read about and Murph has never heard off.  Notice Gladys has to have her nose in their business.

Murph had one last tomato plant but no where to plant it.  So I gave permission for it to be planted in with my strawberries bed.  The new trick...put a cracked egg in the bottom of the hole and then plant the tomato plant right top of it.  It is said that by doing this you are adding calcium to the soil for the roots to absorb thus helping prevent blossom end rot in the tomatoes.  We shall see.  Can't hurt right?

There it is all planted, 'calciumfied', and watered in.

Then I have the story of the day for you...we are still working in the garden when the Ellison's come to drop off some camping stuff.  Marli sees Murph working in the garden and says, 'Wammy when did you hire a gardener!?'  That girl never misses a thing!  I explain to her that Murph is a friend from church and Connor's grandpa (she knows Connor but not Carly).  'Yea, but what is he doing working in your garden?'  So explained the whole thing to her and that satisfied her and within a short breath, she was on to telling me about the babysitting class she just finished.
