The Big Plants Are Going In

. Wednesday, May 20, 2020 .

On the left side of the cucumber trellis are pickling cucumbers.  On the right side are Burpless cukes.  Then when you round the corner that's where you will find the tomatoes.  And do we ever have a variety!  But we have lots of variety of peppers in the black pots also.  There are Big Bertha peppers, Garden Salsa, Jalapeno, and Gypsy peppers.  Murph loves a good pepper.

We have just as many or more varieties of tomatoes.  My favorite (just because of the name) Hillbilly.  Then there are the Cherry tomatoes.  Next in line is a Tomato Tree...it is a real thing look it up or ask Murph...he has pics.  Nothing better than a Beef Steak tomato.  We have a Cherokee Purple, a Big Boy, a Lemon Boy, and lastly in this section of the yard a Pink Girl.

Mark made sure that we got some good use out of some of the goat straw as he mulched all the vegetables that we planted.
We also planted two different beds of Kentucky Wonder Beans.

So this was to be our first year's gardening adventure.  But somehow this garden has taken over everyone's mind.  The backyard has gone crazy...or maybe I should say Mark and Murph have gone crazy.  Just wait until you see what else is going on out there.
