No Irrigation System Today...Instead...

We had lots of help!!!! Thank heavens because it was about 110 degrees and the humidity was off the chart.

Inbetween smoothing out dirt in the last raised bed and helping get the dirt out of the back of the truck I managed to plant 12 sunflower seeds that Cassie saved for me.  The rocks have been found in the yard so why not use them.  I think this might be the last of them.

We were so busy because some had to attend a funeral and some had a graduation to attend.  But Murph managed to build his last raised bed and it is about 2 wheelbarrows short of dirt that is soaked in the back of the truck.  Unloading said dirt is happening tomorrow morning early before church because we need to get the rest of everything planted tomorrow before 2PM.

Had to uproot some flowers to make way for the last raised bed.

I can hardly wait to see what will be growing here.  I have heard so many ideas that I will just wait to see when everything is planted.

As we now have working water on the raised bed side of the yard.  This will make life so much easier.  Thank you Mr. Plumber!

End Note...I was out just checking things out before it got too dark.  I now have only 6 sunflowers and two of the raised beds have huge dug holes in the corners.  I caught Gladys digging!  Guess there will be no more naps for me.  Guess I will be doggie sitting instead.
