We are giving hugelkiltur raised bed gardening a trip around the block this year. I actually think we were going to start next year...but what was I thinking! Be sure to look at it on YouTube. This is what you start with. If you are thinking you might like for someone to make you one let me give you the name of one of the guys that brought ours to us...James F Bond 1 (833) 462-6683.
After adding all of our woodpile, all of the split rail fencing that we own, everything in compost bin number one, and weddings from the yard we ended up with a bed ready for some really good top or potting soil.
And look at that we are alive and still smiling!
COVID hair and I don't care!
This morning we worked in and out of the raindrops. We went across the street and got tree branches and twigs from our neighbor's fallen trees and the twigs that they have picked up n their years. Compost bin number two got cleaned out down to the good stuff. I did some more weeding and now we will fill the bed with good dirt. That's on tomorrow's list.
I had a little spare time and Marji picked up my new plant markers. Yep, I'm using white knives, forks, and spoons. Ghetto Gardening Thank you Kory Rockhold for the great idea!
