It's All In God's Perfect Timing

This is the best story ever.  And I am so glad that I can tell.  It starts out not so good.  But it ends with an amazing happening.

A few months ago my dad lost his fight with bladder cancer.  It was long and hard and my sister and I did out best to make him comfortable in his last days.  We had an amazing village of prayer warriors behind us hold us up all the way.

Several families got together and purchased a tree in my dad's memory.

Today I noticed this!  I don't think it is supposed to bloom the first year.

But sure enough, there is one huge beautiful bloom.

But there is more to the story.

I get a text today from one of the families that purchased the tree...
" I have to share this story...
Yesterday when we were driving home from church, Ellie said let's pray to thank God for the beautiful sky.  We did and then she said let's keep praying all the way home and take turns so we did.  Well, one of her prayers was thanking God for the trees but she said she really wished that just one would have a flower on it that she could see.  Then, today, I got your text.  I really love how god answers prayers!

Want to know another amazing thing...it bloomed on Father's Day!
