While Murph is away I get a chance to work a little on the flowerbeds. I have started in the front corner and plan to work my way around the outside of each vegetable garden area. Then I will go in and weed everything else. I have a master plan...hope it will work. Taking baby steps this year and not making myself sick trying to get it all finished as soon as I possibly can.
Looks rough where we left the leaves on the ground last fall. And with three digging dogs and four digging little boys, it tends to look rough. But summer is coming and there will only be three dogs digging.
This is the third year for these hosta so this year they should really look nice if I cross my fingers and say a little prayer.
Same for this purple iris.
My next-door neighbor and I traded some flowers. She got some of my Snow-In-Summer and I got some of her Monkey Grass. I am splitting it into smaller sections so I can plant it in more p[places in the yard. So far I have planted twelve bunches. And the pots are filled with marigold seeds the yahoos and I harvested last year.
Flowers for the pollinators for the bed behind the fence.
Garden hair...don't care. This is such a horrible picture. It looks like I don't have any teeth. I promise you I do!
