Here Come The Veggies

. Saturday, August 13, 2022 .

We have been on the road and a little busy since we got back from Vacation.  We are trying hard to tame the weeds and pick the veggies.

butternut squash

We've got squash handing on the trellis.  Mark wants to make them all little hammocks so they won't get too heavy and snap off.

I will say it again...squirrels are NOT my friends.  We have had to start picking the tomatoes before they get ripe so we have some.

Farmer Jase helped me pick.  His mom is going to make some lemon blueberry zucchini bread sometime soon.

The cukes and tortillas are just about to give up the ghost.

We have one green bean!

Another mystery plant.

leaning in the trellis

For the life of me, I can not figure out what is going on in this raised bed.  Yet another crazy looking...Pattypan zucchini.

Tieing up the tomato plants is beginning to be a problem.  They are way taller than either one of us.

Jusst for you Murph!

Checking the progress of the corn with the yahoos.

Cucumbers are gone until next year.  They had a really good season.

The 'cornfield' has exploded!  Lok how tall!

More goodies to share.

I think it is a weird-colored acorn squash or maybe some kind of gourd.

The mystery plant from a different view.

A little free farmer's market at the end of the driveway.

They are at it again.

And we have some plants that prefer to grow upside-down.
