New Flowers Everyday

. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 .

I can hardly wait until the flowers really start blooming.  Most of them are just on the verge.  If we keep getting rain and lots of sun they will shine in all their glory really soon.  Here is just a small sample from the first week.

Love my little sunflower.  So far so good I haven't strangled it with the hose.

I have no idea where I got these or when I planted them.  They are such a buttery yellow.

The newest bee balm bloomed in the City Park!

Milkweed in all of its stages.  I'm hoping to find monarch eggs n the back of these in the future.

Look how tall and proud she stands!

purple coneflower

I got four free dahlia tubers so I planted them in the whiskey barrels for the pollinators.

nasturtium

before full bloom

The same flower is in full bloom.

These are squash blossoms.  If you look real close you can see four bees, two in each one, fighting over the pollen.
