Sweatn' In The City Park.

. Friday, July 2, 2021 .

Today started out a little bit cool and I was thankful.  Gabe and I were out in the backyard around 9:30am.  He was 'riding' in the red truck (it had no battery so he just sat and pretended.)  I was in The City Park weeding and planting native perennials.  It seemed to take me longer to weed less amount of garden space.  Maybe it was the run to several places looking for a birdbath and maybe a stop at a flower farm to see what plants they had.  Or maybe it was because we had to go to Lowe's to check out the clearance flowers.  But I finally finished this phase around 7:30pm.  But I am happy with it.  Just a few more things to do and it will be finished and ready for me to enjoy sitting and watching the birds and hopefully some hummers.

The right side of the brick path is planted and ready for mulch.

I still need to sew some seeds along the fence but that can't happen until the fall.

Check out this birdbath that we found.  I love it!  I have never seen anything like it before.  The bees and birds are going to love it!
