I'm thinking I am in a morning routine. After everyone has settled or gone off to work or school, I take a walk around the yard. I try to decide what I am going to tackle for the day. The I look for new color. Something new that has come up seems like overnight.
Our first pink rhodie. The bush looks really sad. We didn't think there was any life in the old gal. But look...she is blushing!
A few years ago when clearing brush from the back if the yard I found four Jack-In-The-Pulpits. Very gingerly I transplanted them under the oak tree by the fire pit. Today I am finding them all over the yard. Thank you Mr. Squirrel for that!
I am so glad that dear don't like the taste of daffodils. I can't count how many different varieties we have coming up. Thank you previous, previous owners.
And I don't think I remember these little beauties. I'll have to go back int he archives to check. I am so looking forward to tomorrows walk. It is starting to thunder and rain. That means that things will be popping out all over the place. I can't wait.
