Early Bloomers

Can you even begin to guess what flower this is about to open? Today it has rained off and on. The yard needed a good drink of water. It also gave me a break from yard work...I got to finish a quilt top...yea! Please don't everybody that I owe a quilt to get excited. My newest little buddy, Carter, will be coming soon and he needs a Wammy Quilt. I will post pick on another blog one of these days...who knows I might just have another blog about quilting. I don't see why not. Anyway, have you figured out the mystery flower?

Two clematis actually opened up sometime today. They are climbing up a ladder on the fence by Ms Renee's house. I think by the looks of it this early in the spring...it might make it up and over the fence this year.
