Kroger's got nothing on us!

Mark go the first strawberry of the season...well, maybe not the first one.  Some little critter got the berry that I have been watching.

Tonight I got these.  I have neglected to weed the garden but tonight I tackle one end.  Boy does it look better.  Maybe by the weekend, I will have it all cleaned up and then the berries will be flying off those vines.

Here They Come

. .
I always hope our lamppost in OH will be as big and beautiful as the lamppost we had in WI.

Mark's Mom's peony...Casablanca.

I Love My Morning Walks

. Friday, May 18, 2018 .
But first I think we might be tree growers next.  We have a small forest just in the corner drain edge of the patio.  There must be another million out in the yard.

I am slobbering just looking at the pic.  If all the berries ripen we are going to have an awesome harvest.

It Is Getting Close

. .
The peonies are so heavy that they are falling over and breaking the stems.

I have several clumps of these.  They came from WI.

I finally found the most perfect place for my garden stone.

Looky, Looky, Looky

The strawberry patch has overtaken all the raised beds.  That's okay by me!  I have a few plants to share if anyone wants one.  Let me know.

And the chives have decided to come back!  Yea.  Hope the chickens don't figure out that they can stick their little heads through the fence to reach them.

Starting To Take Off

. .
I love walking around the yard right after a rain.  It seems like everything is breathing a sigh of relief.

The Snow In Summer just exploded!

Mr Bill next door gave me a few crocks..shhh but don't tell Mark, he says I can't bring anything esle home.
